What is in a spring mix?

Spring Mix. The crop that started it all at Earthbound Farm. A delicious blend of mild and bold baby greens. Organic Baby Lettuces (Red & Green Romaine, Red & Green Oak Leaf, Red Leaf, Lollo Rosa, Tango, Butter Lettuce), Organic Red & Green Chard, Organic Mizuna, Organic Arugula, Organic Radicchio, Organic Baby Spinach.

What is the difference between a chef and a Cobb salad?

Was is a Cobb Salad or a Chef Salad, and is there even a difference between the two? A Chef Salad and Cobb Salad both have lettuce, cheese and meats such as bacon, chicken breast, and ham, plus hard boiled eggs. But a Cobb salad usually has a mixture of lettuces, and also has avocado and tomatoes.

What is in a mixed salad?

A salad is a dish consisting of small pieces of food, which may be mixed with a sauce or salad dressing. They are typically served cold. Salads can incorporate a variety of foods including vegetables, fruits, cheese, cooked meat, eggs and grains.

STORAGE.

Spring Mix Salads are washed and ready to eat, and should be refrigerated. Each package has been designed to keep its ingredients fresh. Keep away from vegetables and fruits that produce ethylene to prevent ripening. We recommend saving any leftover vegetables in your refrigerator, with as little air as possible in the original bag.

  • Humidity: 95 to 100%
  • Does not produce ethylene, but is sensitive to ethylene exposure.
