CELERY


Celery is a vegetable composed of several stalks, with leaves on top and joined from its bottom. The celery has a crisp texture and delicate flavor, but slightly salty taste. The stalks in the center are known as the heart and are the most tender part of the celery. Celery stalks should have straight green color and fixed edges. The internal surfaces must be clean and smooth, and the leaves should be fresh with an uniform green color with no signs of wilting.

STORAGE.
Celery can be stored in a drawer of the refrigerator for up to one week. Wash before cooking. To prevent discoloration or store away those stains vegetables or fruits that produce ethylene. Optimal storage temperature: 34°F to 40°F Humidity: 98 to 100% Ethylene producer: No Sensitive to ethylene exposure: Yes
